Meet Blake

Director, Clinical Psychologist

Blake is a registered Clinical Psychologist, Founder and Director of B Psychology. He has gained experience over several years working with adults and older adults across various settings within public mental health and in private practice. Blake provides a comprehensive assessment to deepen individuals’ understanding of their difficulties and what maintains them. He focuses on providing counselling and psychotherapy to assist individuals in working towards their desired changes.

Blake is motivated to continue helping individuals improve their lives through targeting problems ranging in acuity and severity. These problems may relate to mental disorders, including:

  • anxiety

  • depression 

  • psychotic

  • obsessive-compulsive

  • trauma related 

  • dissociative

  • impulse control, and 

  • personality disorders. 

or other difficulties relating to:

  • suicidality and self-harming; 

  • stress; 

  • low self-esteem and confidence; 

  • grief and loss; 

  • life transition; 

  • relationship difficulties; 

  • social difficulties; 

  • loneliness: and

  • conflict, to name a few.

Blake is trained in, and continues to develop several evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), 

  • Mindfulness based therapies. 

Blake is an accredited CAT Practitioner and this modality greatly informs Blake's therapeutic work. It is a collaborative therapy focused on supporting individuals recognise and work towards shifting the most unhelpful patterns that are present in their lives.

Blake values creating a safe space where clients are heard and collaborated with to deepen their understanding of themselves, and improve their lives and overall wellbeing.

Meet Jessica

Clinical Psychologist

Jessica is a registered clinical psychologist with Ahpra who has been practising since 2019, in both private practice and public settings such as the hospital, school and community. She is especially interested in mental health issues and emotional wellbeing among those who may be new in the country, experience adjustment issues, or feel marginalised in the community one way or another. Her therapeutic approaches include:

  • Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT),

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

Jessica works with individuals with the following presentations in both English and Mandarin:

  • Anxiety issues related to performance, social interactions, and chronic worry

  • Adjustment issues (reallocation, migration, major changes in relationships/ work situations)

  • Depression

  • Emotion dysregulation (unstable mood, big mood swings, impulsively acting on emotions)

  • Insomnia

  • Issues around identify and self-worth

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-harm & suicidal ideation

Jessica believes in empowering clients to shape the kind of life that is meaningful and satisfying, as guided by their values. She enjoys exploring how people’s different approaches to emotions and interpersonal relationships may have an impact on their mental health and well-being.

Meet Navid

Clinical Psychologist

Navid is a registered psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist who has been practising clinically since 2018. He provides psychotherapy for young adults and adults, supporting them to explore the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape their well-being and sense of self.

Grounded in classical and contemporary psychoanalytic theory, Navid helps individuals gain insight into unconscious conflicts, identity struggles, and emotional difficulties within a safe and collaborative therapeutic space. His approach integrates depth-oriented psychotherapy with evidence-based modalities.

Navid works with individuals presenting with the following concerns, in both English and Persian (Farsi):

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Complex trauma and PTSD

  • Low self-esteem and identity issues

  • Relationship and attachment difficulties

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions

  • Emotional regulation and stress-related challenges

Navid draws on several evidence-based and psychodynamic approaches, including:

  • Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

  • Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP)

  • Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Navid is committed to creating a warm and empathetic space that helps clients reconnect with their inner voice, confront their fears, and move toward personal growth and self-understanding.

Meet Rajitha

Provisional Psychologist

Rajitha is an AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist and final-year PhD (Clinical Psychology) candidate in an accredited combined pathway. She has gained experience across a range of public mental health settings, including outpatient services, early psychosis programs, and acute inpatient units, working with adolescents and young adults presenting with complex and high-acuity mental health difficulties .

Rajitha provides psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention, with a particular focus on supporting individuals experiencing significant distress, emotional dysregulation, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and is experienced in risk assessment, safety planning, and delivering care in both structured and crisis-oriented environments . She also has experience facilitating family sessions and working systemically to support shared understanding, communication, and care planning.

Rajitha works with individuals presenting with the following concerns, in both English and Sinhalese:

  • Anxiety (e.g., chronic worry, social anxiety, panic)

  • Depression

  • Mood instability and bipolar-related difficulties

  • Trauma-related presentations

  • Emotional dysregulation and distress tolerance difficulties

  • Adjustment and life transition challenges

  • Self-harm and suicidal ideation

  • Interpersonal and relationship difficulties

  • Low self-esteem and identity-related concerns

Rajitha is trained in, and draws on, several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT)

  • Supportive and skills-based interventions (e.g., distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation)

Her approach is collaborative, formulation-driven, and tailored to the individual. She aims to support clients to better understand their internal experiences, strengthen their capacity to make sense of emotions (their own and others’), and develop practical skills to support meaningful and sustainable change.

Rajitha values creating a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive therapeutic space. As someone with a migrant background, she brings an awareness of cultural, identity, and systemic factors that may shape mental health and help-seeking. She is committed to working alongside clients to build insight, strengthen coping, and support improved wellbeing.
